Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic

The Bellagio hosts a number of poker tournaments and the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic is one of the most popular.  The Bellagio Las Vegas is one of the major stops on the World Poker Tour with the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic, an annual poker tournament that takes place at the Bellagio in November and December.  The Bellagio has one of the top poker rooms in Las Vegas and the Five Diamond World Poker Classic is one of the top poker tournaments in Las Vegas as is the Bellagio Festa al Lago Poker Tournament in October, the Bellagio Five Star World Poker Classic Tournament in April, and the Bellagio Cup in July.

The Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic Tournament begins at the end of November and includes about two weeks of daily poker tournaments culminating in a 3 day World Poker Tour Five Diamond World Poker Classic Championship poker tournament - a no limit Texas Holdem poker tournament with a $15,000 buy-in.

The daily poker tournaments preceding the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic Championship poker tournament include no limit, limit, and pot limit Texas Holdem as well as Seven Card Stud poker, 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo, Omaha Hi-Lo, and Pot Limit Omaha poker.  Poker tournament buy-ins are usually between $1,000 and $3,000.

The Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic typically starts the end of November, with daily poker tournaments running through the middle of December.  The $15,000 World Poker Tour Five Diamond World Poker Classic Championship Tournament takes place the last 4 or 5 days of the poker tournament series.  The winner of the $15,000 WPT tournament receives an entry to the $25,000 World Poker Tour Championship held at the Bellagio in April.

Some of the other poker tournaments in the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic also award entries to the $25,000 World Poker Tour Championship in April (as long as the tournament prize pools reaches a minimum amount).

Bellagio holds daily satellite tournaments beginning the end of November, and holds a $1,000 buy-in Super Satellite tournament in December 13 that awards as many entries as possible to the $15,000 WPT Five Diamond World Poker Championship poker tournament.
