It is part of the Caesars Entertainment group of casinos and one of the most popular of the Tunica Casinos located less than thirty minutes south of Memphis Tennessee. The Grand Casino Tunica is a 2,200 acre resort with three impressive hotel towers, a very large casino, one of the most popular poker rooms in Tunica, headline entertainment, an RV resort, a large arcade for the kids, a first class spa, a beautiful Hale Irwin designed golf course, a sporting clays center, and excellent restaurants. A new $65 million, 30-acre water theme park is scheduled to open in June 2005. The Grand Casino has 140,000 square feet of gaming that includes over 2500 video poker and slot machines, over 100 table games, and a very active poker room. Table games include 4 Card Poker, Blackjack, Craps, Mini Baccarat, Let It Ride, Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Pai Gow Poker, and 3 Card Poker. Grand Casino Tunica has about a half dozen restaurants from casual to fine dining. For excellent authentic Italian food try Murano’s. Steak and seafood lovers will enjoy LB’s Steakhouse, and for an upscale but casual sports bar atmosphere visit Grand Replays. The Grand Casino has three luxury hotel towers. The Grand Veranda Resort has 568 rooms and suites with views of the golf course and Grand Lake, and it features an outdoor swimming pool. The Grand Casino Hotel is adjacent to the casino and offers 188 rooms and suites, an indoor swimming pool, and an exercise room. The Grand Terrace Resort has 600 rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, and houses the Bellissimo Spa & Salon on the first floor. The top rated Grand Casino RV resort has 200 RV spaces with hookups for water, electric, sewer, and cable TV. The facilities include a lodge, convenience store, laundry, showers, a heated pool, volleyball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, basketball, and more.
