Horseshoe Casino in Tunica Mississippi is a popular Mississippi River gambling spot.  It is part of the Horseshoe Gaming Holding Corp. group of casinos founded by Jack Binion which includes Horseshoe Casinos in Indiana, Louisiana, and Mississippi.  Horseshoe Gaming is owned by Harrah's Entertainment, one of the largest and most respected casino enterprises in the world.  The Horseshoe Casino is one of the more popular of the Tunica Casinos.

The Horseshoe Casino Tunica is a 65,000 square foot casino with more than 2,000 video poker and slot machines, over 70 table games, and a poker room.  The decor is very elegant with lots of brass and marble.  Table games include Blackjack, Mini Baccarat, Craps, Caribbean Stud Poker, Let It Ride, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker, and 3 Card Poker.

The Horseshoe poker room has 12 tables dealing mostly Texas Holdem, with spreads generally between $4-$8 and $20-$40, as well as some Omaha and Seven Card Stud poker games.  No limit Texas Holdem tournaments are held every Monday and Thursday.  The Horseshoe Casino sponsors several annual poker tournaments including the Mid-America Poker Classic in July and August, and the Jack Binion World Poker Open in January.  The World Poker Open is co-sponsored with the Gold Strike Casino and is an official World Poker Tour event.

Horseshoe Casino offers some very good musical entertainment.  Headline talent can be found at the 1000 seat Horseshoe Bluesville.  The Stage Bar offers live entertainment nightly and the River Bar provides live music on the weekend.  Music fans will also appreciate the Blues and Legends Hall of Fame Museum.

The restaurant options at Horseshoe Casino are excellent with Jack Binion’s Steak House, Yasmin's Asian Restaurant, Cafe Sonoma, and the Village Square Buffet.

The Horseshoe Hotel has over 500 rooms, including a 14-story tower with 311 suites.  The Horseshoe suites are particularly nice with a sectional sofa, three televisions, a marble bathroom, and a refrigerator.  Other amenities include a swimming pool and a full service health spa with sauna, steam room, and massages.
