Pacific Poker UK Open Poker Tournament
The annual Pacific Poker UK Open takes place in London, England, and is
one of Europe's richest televised Poker tournaments. This is a
Texas Holdem poker tournament
with a prize pool in the millions. The
poker tournament is sponsored by online poker room
Pacific Poker.
The Pacific Poker UK Open poker tournament takes place the around the end of October
through the beginning of November. The poker tournament progresses as follows:

In the first round, 108 players play at eighteen tables, each comprised of six
players. The winner of each table wins $10,000 and advances to the semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, eighteen players play at three tables, each comprised of six
players. The top two players from each table advance to the finals, and carry
their chip count, taken at the time when only two players remain, forward with
them to the finals.

|
Each of the eighteen first round tables and three Semi-Finals tables will be
played in a single session in a TV studio and televised on Challenge TV.

The prize fund is over $1,000,000 is generally awarded as follows:

Tournament Winner: $500,000
|

Tournament Runner Up: $170,000
|
|
Third Place: $100,000
|
|
Fourth Place: $60,000
|
|
Fifth Place: $40,000
|
|
Sixth Place: $30,000
|
|
First Round Winners: 18 x $10,000
